New Delhi , the 8th October 1976
G.S.R. 838 ( E ) . The following draft of certain rules to amend the Board of Trustees of the Port of Bombay ( Payment of Fees and Allowances to Trustees ) Rules , 1975 , which the Central Government proposes to make , in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 122 of the Major Port Trusts Act , 1963 (38 of 1963 ) , is hereby published as required by sub - section ( 2 ) of the said section , for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft will be taken into consideration on or after thethe expiryexpiry of a period of forty - five days from the date ofof publication of this notification in the Official Gazette .
2. Any objections or suggestions which may be received from any persons with respect to the said draft before the expiry of the said period will be taken into consideration by the Central Government .
Draft Amendment
1. These rules may be called the Board of Trustees of the Port of Bombay (Payment of Fees and Allowances to Trustees ) Amendment Rules , 1976 ,

2. In the Board of Trustees of the Port of Bombay ( Payment of Fees and Bombay (Pay Allowances to Trustees ) Rules , 1975 , for rule 2 , the following rule shall be substituted , namely : -
" 2. Fees Payable ( 1 ) Every Trustee of the Board , other than the Chairman , Deputy Chairman, or any other Trustes who is a servant of the Government , shall be entitled to a fee of-
( 1 ) Rupees thirty for attendance at each ordinary or special meeting of the Board:
Provided that an aggregate amount of fees payable to any Trustee in respect of the meetings held during any calendar month shall not in any case exceed Rupees two hundred.
( ii ) Rupees fifteen for attendance at each meeting of any Committee other than the meeting of the Committee held on the same day in continuation or preparatory to , an ordinary or special meeting of the Board .
( 2 ) A Trustee present at or for any meeting of the Board or Committee thereof shall sign his name in a book or register to be kept for the purpose."

सा० फा ० ति० ४३४ ( २ ) .- मुम्बई पत्तन के न्यासीबोर्ड ( न्यासियों कीफीस और भत्तों का संदाय ) नियम, 1975 को संशोधन करने के लिए कतिपय नियमों का निम्नलिखित प्रारुप , जिसे केन्द्रीय सरकार महापत्तन न्यास अधिनियम , 1963 (1963 का 38 ) की धारा 122 की उपधारा (1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , बनाने का प्रस्ताव करती है , उक्त धारा की उपधारा ( 2 ) की अपेक्षानुसार , उन सभी व्यक्तियों की सूचना के लिए प्रकाशित किया जाता है जिन पर उनका प्रभाव पड़ने की संभावना है ओर यह सूचना दी जाती है कि राजपत्त्र में इस अधिसूचना के प्रकाशन की तारीख से "तालीस दिन की अवधि समाप्त ोने पर या उसके पश्चात् उक्त प्रारुप पर विचार किया जाएगा ।
2. ऐप्सी आपत्तियों या सुझावों पर , जो उक्त अवधि को समाप्ति से पूर्व उक्त प्रारुप के संबंध में किसी व्यक्ति से प्राप्त होंगे , केन्द्रीय सरकार द्वारा विचार किया जाएगा ।
संशोधन का प्रारुप
1. इन नियमों का नाम मुम्बई पत्तन के न्यासी बोर्ड ( न्यासियों को फीस और भत्तों का संदाय ) संशोधन नियम, 1976 है ।
2. मुम्बई पत्तन के न्यासी बोर्ड ( न्यासियों की फीस और भत्तों का संदाय ) नियम, 1975 में, नियम 2 के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित नियम रखा जाएगा , अर्थात्:--
" 2. संदेय फोस ( 1 ) बोर्ड का प्रत्येक न्यासी, जो अध्यक्ष, उपाध्यक्ष या किसी अन्य न्यासी से, जो सरकारी सेवक है , भिन्न है ; निम्नलिखित फीस का हकदार होगा-
(1 ) खोर्ड के प्रत्येक साधारण या विशेष अधिवेशन में उपस्थिति के लिए तीस रुपए : परन्तु किसी कलेण्डर मास में हुए अधिवेशनों के संबंध में किसो न्यासी को संदेय फीस की कुल रकम किसी भी दशा में दी सो रुपए से अधिक नहीं होंगे ।

( ii ) समिति के ऐसे प्रत्येक अधिवेशन में, जो बो के साधारण या विशेष अधिवेशन के सातत्य में या उसकी तैयारी में उसी दिन हुए समिति के अधिवेशन से भिन्नहो, उपस्थिति के लिए पन्द्रह रुपए।
( 2 ) बोर्ड या उसकी समिति के किसी अधिवेशन में या उसके लिए उपस्थित न्यासी उस प्रयोजन के लिए रखी गई पुस्तक या रजिस्टर में अपने नाम के हस्ताक्षर करेगा । "
