NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 27th October 1976
G.S.R. 853 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the All India Services Act, 1951 (61 of 1951) read with Bub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Indian Administrative Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1954, the Central Government, in consultation with the Government of Jammu & Kashmir and the Union Public Service Commission, hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Indian Administrative Service (Appointment by Promotion) Regulations, 1955, namely:—
1. (1) These Regulations may be called the Indian Administrative Service (Appointment by Promotion)—Sixth Amendment Regulations, 1976.
(2) They shall come into force with immediate effect.
