New Delhi, the 10th November 1976

S.O. 720(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 5 read with sub-section (1) of Section 6 of the University Grants Commission Act, the Central Government hereby appoints Shri G. Ramachandran, Secretary, Ministry of Finance (Department of Expenditure) to be the member of the University Grants Commission for a period of three years, with immediate effect.
