NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 22nd November 1976
S.O. 748(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (3) of article 77 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Govern- ment of India (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1961, namely:—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Government of India (Allocation of Business) (One hundred and eighteenth Amendment) Rules, 1976,
(2) They shall come into force at once.
2. In the second Schedule to the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1961,—
(1) under the heading "MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND IRRIGATION (KRISHI AUR SINCHAI MANTRALAYA),
(a) under the sub-heading "A. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE (KRISHI VTBHAG)", for entry 19, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:—
"19. Price control of agricultural commodities except foodgrains, sugar. vanas- pati, oil seeds, vegetable oils, cakes and fats, Jute, Cotton and Tea, 19A. Production of Oil Seeds.";

(i) for entry 6, the following entry shall be substituted, namely:—
"6. Inter-State trade and commerce in respect of foodgrains and other food- stuffs including sugar.";
(ii) for entry 7, the following entry shall be substituted, namely:—
"7. Industries, the control of which by the Union is declared by Parliament by law to be expedient in public interest as far as these relate to food (including fruit) processing industries, sugar (including development of gur and Khandsari).";
(iii) for entry 9, the following entry shall be substituted, namoly:—
"9. Trade and commerce in and the production, supply and distribution of sugar and foodstuffs other than foodgrains.";
(iv) for entry 10, the following entry shall be substituted, namely:—
"10, Price control of foodgrains, foodstuffs and sugar.";
(v) for entry ll(ii), the following entry shall be substituted, namely:—
"11 (ii) Directorate of sugar, New Delhi.";
(2) under the heading "MINISTRY OF CIVIL SUPPLIES AND COOPERATION (NAGRIK POORTI AUR SAHKARITA MANTRALAYA)", after entry 20, the following entries shall be added, namely:- —
"21. Industries, the control of which by the Union h declared by Parliament by law to be expedient in public interest, as far as these relate to Vanaspati, Oil seeds, VegetabJe Oils, Cakes and Fats.
22. Price control of and inter-State trade .md commerce in and supply and distc bution of Vanaspati, Oil seeds, Vegetable Oils, Cakes and Fats.
23. Directorate of Vanatpa|i, Vegetable Oils and Fats.".
