G.S.R. 896(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Department of Revenue and Banking (Revenue Wing) No. 388-Custom9, dated 2nd August, 1976, namely:—
In paragraph 2 of the said notification, for the figures, letters and word "31st March 1977", the figures, letters and word "31st October, 1977" shall be substituted.
