CENTRAL EXCISES

G.S.R. 912 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (2) and (3) of section 3 of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944) the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Department of Revenue and Banking No. 240/76-Central Excises, dated the 30th August, 1976, namely :—
In the Table annexed to the said notification for S. No. 12 and the entries relating thereto the following shall be substituted, namely :—
(3) ( I)
"12. Fabrics containing n ot less than 9 0% of shoddy yarn—
(a) Blankets
