8.0. 786(E).—Whereas in the opinion of the Central Government it is necessary and expedient BO to do for maintaining supplies and services essential to the life of the community;
And whereas any strike in the services in the State of Tamil Nadu connected with the supply of electrical energy to the public or with the generation, storage or transmission of electrical energy for the purposes of such supply (including the works connected with the supply of electrical energy to the public, or with the generation, storage or transmission of electrical energy for the purpose of such supply, connected with the Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited Neyveli, in the State of Tamil Nadu) would prejudicially effect the maintenance of supplies and services essential to the life of the community, it is necessary and expedient to prevent strikes in the said services;
