NOTIFICATION
CENTRAL EXCISES
New Delhi, the 14th December 1976
G.S.R. 918(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) and sub- section (3) of section 3 of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the noti- fication of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) No. 171/75-Central Excises, dated the 26th July. 1975, namely:—
In the Table annexed to the said notification, in column (4),—
(a) against Serial No. 1—
(i) for the words "Rupees three per cubic metre", the words "Rupees three and twenty paise per cubic metre" shall be substituted;
(ii) for the words "Rupee one per cubic metre" the words "Rupee one end twenty paise per cubic metre" shall be substituted;
(b) against Serial No. 2. for the words "Rupee one and ninety-five paise per cubic metre" the words "Rupee one and sixty paise per cubic metre" shall be substituted,
