G.S.R. 928 ( E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 3 of All India Services Act , 1951 ( 61 of 1951 ) , read with sub - rule (2 ) of rule 4 of the Indian Police Service ( Cadre ) Rules , 1954 , the Central Government in con- sultation with the Governments of Manipur and Tripura , hereby makes the follow- ing regulations further to amend the Indian Police Service ( Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulations , 1955 , namcly :-
1. ( 1 ) These regulations may be called the Indian Police Service ( Fixation of Cadre Strength ) Seventeenth Amendment Regulations , 1976 .
( 2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .
2. In the Schedule to the Indian Police Service ( Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulations , 1955 , for the heading 'Manipur - Tripura' and the entries relating thereto the following shall be substituted , namely :-
"MANIPUR - TRIPURA "

का 61 ) की धारा 3 की उपधारा ( 1 ) के ारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए केन्द्रीय सरकार मणिपुर तथा त्रिपुरा के संयुक्त संवर्ग प्राधिकरण के परामर्श से भारतीय पुलिस सेघा (सवर्ग सख्या का नियतन ) विनियम , 1955 में और आगे संशोधन करने के लिए एतद्वारा निम्नलिखित विनियम बनाती है , अर्थात्ः--
1. ( 1 ) इन विनियमों का नाम भारतीय पुलिस सेवा ( संवर्ग संख्या नियतन ) सत्त्रहवां संशोधन विनियम , 1976 है ; ।
( 2 ) ये विनियम राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख से प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. भारतीय पुलिस सेथा ( संवर्ग संख्या का नियतन ) विनियम , 1955 की अनुसुची में " मणिपुर - त्रिपुरा " शीर्षक और उसके अन्तर्गत दी गई प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रतिस्थापति किया जाएगा, अर्थात्:--
" मणिपुर-त्रिपुरा"

सा० फा० ति ० 929 ( ): - भारतीय पुलिस सेषा ( वेतन ) नियम , 1954 के नियम 11 के साथ पठित अखिल भारतीय सेवाऐं अधिनियम 1951 ( 1951 का 61 ) की धारा 3 को उपधारा ( 1 ) ारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग केरते हुए, केन्द्रीय सरकार मणिपुर तथा त्रिपुरा के सयुक्त संवर्ग प्राधिकरण के परामर्श से भारतीय पुलिस सेवा ( वेतन ) नियम, 1954 में श्रीर भाये संशोधन करने के लिए एतद्वारा निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है अर्थात्: - 1. ( 1 ) इन नियमों का नाम भारतीय पुलिस सेवा ( वेतन ) अठारहवां संशोधन नियम, 1976 है ।
( 2 ) ये राजपत्र में प्रकाशित होने की तारीख से प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. भारतीय पुलिस सेवा ( वेतन ) नियम , 1954 की संलग्न अनुसूची- III में, (क) " राज्य सरकारों के अधीन भारतीय पुलिस सेवा में समय वेतन मान से अधिक तन वाले ए-पव शीर्षक" के अधीन सारणी में " मणिपुरे-त्रिपुरा " के पहले कालम में उल्लिखित प्रविष्टियों तथा दूसरे और तीसरे कालभ में दी गई तत्तस्थानी प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रषिषि यां क्रमशः प्रतिस्थापित की जाएगी अर्थात्:--
