NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 20th December 1976
G.S.R. 931 ( E ) ,-In exercise of the powers conferred by section 22 of the Pass- ports Act , 1967 ( 15 of 1967) , the Central Government , being of the opinion that it is necessary in the public interest so to do , hereby exempts Dr. Jayanti Dharma Teja , son of Late Jayanti Venkata Narayana , of 15 Rajghat Colony , New Delhi- 110002 , from the operation of the provisions of clause ( e ) of sub - section ( 2 ) of section 6 of the said Act , subject to the following conditions , namely :-
( i ) That the passport issued to Dr. Jayanti Dharma Teja shall continue in force for a period of six weeks from the date of its issue ;
( ii ) That the said passport shall not be used by him except for a single journey to a foreign country or foreign countries endorsed on it and return therefrom , to be completed before the date of its expiry ,
2. This notification shall have effect for a period of 3 months from the date of its publication In the official Gazette .
