ORDER
New Delhi, the 27th December 1976
8.O. 833(E)/18FB/IDRA/76.—Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Industrial Development No. S.O. 426(E)]18AA| 1DRA/74, dated the 8th July, 1074, the management of the chemical unit of the industrial undertaking known as Messrs, Association Industries (Assam) Ltd., Chandrapur (hereinafter referred to as the said industrial undertaking) has been taken over under clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 18AA of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), for a period upto and inclusive of the 7th of July, 1979;
And whereas the Central Government is satisfied that in relation to the said industrial undertaking it is necessary so to do in the interests of the general public with a view to preventing fall in the volume of production of the scheduled industry, namely, the chemical industry;
2310 T HE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY PART II—SEC. 3(11}liabilities to banks and financial institutions) to which the said industrial under- taking or the company owning such industrial undertaking is a party or which may be applicable to such industrial undertaking or company shall remain suspended for a period of one year and all the rights, privileges, obligations and liabilities accruing or arising thereunder before the said date shall remain suspended for the said period.
