New Delhi , the 30th December 1976
G.S.R. 962 ( E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 13 of the Central Sales Tax Act , 1956 ( 74 of 1956 ) , the Central . Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central Sales Tax (Registration and Turnover ) Rules , 1957 , namely : -
1. These rules may be called the Central Sales Tax ( Registration and Turn- over ) ( Amendment ) Rules , 1976 .
2. In the Central Sales Tax ( Registration and Turnover ) Rules , 1957 ( herein- after referred to as the said rules ) , in rule 12.-
(1 ) in sub - rule ( 1 ) , for the first proviso , the following proviso shall be substituted , namely : -
"Provided that form ' C' in force before the commencement of the Central Sales Tax ( Registration and Turnover ) ( Amendment ) Rules , 1974, or before the commencement of the Central Sales Tax (Registra- tlon and Turnover ) ( Amendment ) Rules , 1976 , may also be used upto the 31st December , 1977 with suitable modifications ;" .
(ii) in sub - rule ( 5 ) , in the third proviso, for the figures " 1976 " , the figures " 1977 " shall be substituted .

3. In form ' C' appended to the said rules , in each of the three parts marked as " COUNTERFOIL " , " DUPLICATE " and " ORIGINAL "
( i ) for the words , asterisk and letters- " Certified that the goods **Ordered for in our purchase Order No ... .dated ..... purchased from you as per bill/ cash memo , stated below * " ,
the following shall be substituted , namely :-
" Certified that the goods **Ordered for in our purchase Order No ... .dated . and supplied as per Bill/ cash memo / challan No ....... dated . as stated below * purchased from you as per Bill/ Cash memo / challan No. as stated below * " .dated .
(ii ) after the words " particulars of Bill /cash memo " , the word "/ challan " shall be inserted .
4. In form ' G ' appended to the said rules,-
( 1 ) after the words " for the payment of the said sum " occurring imme- diately before the Schedule , the words , " whenever called upon to do so by the assessing authority " shall be inserted .;
(11 ) in the Schedule , in the first paragraph , after the words " shown by the Government " , the words " or by reason of anyany change in the constitution ofof the ObligerObliger iin cases where the Obliger is not an Individual " shall be inserted ,

सा० फा० नि० 962 ( श्र) -केन्द्रीय सरकार , केन्द्रीय विक्रय कर- अधिनियम , 1956 (1956 का 74) की धारा 13 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्रीय विक्रय कर ( रजिस्ट्रीकरण और श्रवर्त ) नियम , 1957 में और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है , अर्थात-
1. इन नियमों का नाम केन्द्रीय विक्रय कर ( रजिस्ट्रीकरण और आवर्त ) (संशोधन )
नियम , 1976 है ।
2. केन्द्रीय विक्रय कर ( रजिस्ट्रीकरण और आवर्त ) नियम , 1957 ( जिसे इसमें इसके पश्चात उक्त नियम कहा गया है ) के नियम 12 में, -
(i ) उप - नियम ( 1 ) में, प्रथम पस्न्तुक के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित परन्तुक रखा जाएगा, अर्थात: --
"परन्तु यह कि केन्द्रीय विक्रय कर ( रजिस्ट्रीकरण और आवर्त ) ( संशोधन ) नियम , 1974 के प्रारम्भ के पूर्व , या केन्द्रीय विक्रय कर ( रजिस्ट्री- करण और आवर्त ) (संशोधन ) नियम, 1976 के प्रारम्भ के पूर्व , प्रवृत्त प्ररूप 'ग ' का प्रयोग , समुचित उपांतरणों के साथ , 31 दिसम्बर , 1977 तक भी किया जा सकता है" भाग II-खं. 3 ( i )

(ii ) उप-नियम ( 5) में, तृतीय परन्तुक में, " 1976" अंक के स्थान पर " 1977" अंक रखे जायेंगे ।
3. उक्त नियमों से उपाबद्ध प्ररूप 'ग ' में , " प्रतिपणे " " द्वितीय प्रति" तथा "मूल प्रति" , तीनों भामों में से प्रत्येक में-
(i ) "प्रमाणित किया जाता है कि हमारे ऋय आदेश सं ० तारीख में मादिष्ट **/नीचे उल्लिखित बिल, कैशमीमों के अंतमंत क्रय किया गया * माल", शब्दों तारा चिल्लों और अक्षरों के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित रखा जायेगा , अर्थात :
" प्रमाणित किया जाता है कि हमारे श्राय प्रादेश सं ० ..... तारीख ..... में भ्राषिष्ट ** तथा नीचे उल्लिखित बिल , कैशमीमो , चालान सं ० ........ तारीख के अन्तगत आपूर्ति किया गया माल" ।
( ii) " बिल, कशमीमो की विशिष्टियां" शब्दों के पश्चात " चालान" शब्द अंतः स्थापित किया जाएगा ।
4. उक्त नियमों से उपाबद्ध प्ररूप ' छ' में,--
( i ) " उक्त राशि के संदाय के लिए " शब्दों के पश्चात जो कि अनुसूची के ठीक पहले भाए हैं " जब कभी निर्धारण प्राधिकारी द्वारा ऐसा करने के लिए कहा जाए " शब्द अंतःस्थापित किए जाएंगे ;
( ii) अनुसूची में , प्रथम पैरा में , " के कारण " शब्दों के पश्चात " अथवा वहां जहां बाध्यताधारी व्यष्टि नहीं है , बाध्यताधारी के गठन में किसी परिवर्तन केो कारण " शब्द अंतःस्थापित किए जाएंगे ।
