G.S.R. 966 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules. 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurances) No. 186/72- Central Excises, dated 9th August, 1972. namely: —

In the said notification for the figures, letters and words ""31st day of December, 1976", the figures, letters and words "31st day of March, 1977'', shall be substituted,[No. 296/76] N. RAJA, Under Secy. (2939)
