CUSTOMS

G.S.R. 7(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of sec- tion 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satis- fied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts anhydrous ammonia, falling within Chapter 28 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), when imported into India for the manufacture of fertilizers from—
(i) the whole of the duty of customs leviable thereon under the said First Schedule, and
(ii) the whole of the additional duty leviable thereon under section 3 of the said Customs Tariff Act
24 T HE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY PART II—SEC. 3(1)G.S.R. 8(K).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of sec- tion 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 19627, read with sub section (4) of section 32 of the Finance Act, 1976 (66 of 1976), the Central Government, being satisfied that it la necessary in the public Interest so to do, hereby exempts anhydrous am- n onia, falling within Chapter 28 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), when imported Into India for the manufacture of fertilizers from payment of the whole of the auxiliary duty of customg leviable thereon under sub- section (1) of section 32 of the said Finance Act.
