G.S.R 16(E) —In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of sec- tion 1 of the Territorial Waters, Continental Shelf Exclusive Economic Zone and Other Maritime Zones Act, 1976 (80 of 1976), the Central Government here- by appoints the 15th day of January, 1977, as the date on which sections 5 and 7 of the said Act shall come into force.
