MINISTRY OF INDUSTRY (Department of Industrial Development) ORDER New Delhi, the 19th January 1977

S.O. 30(E)/15A/IDRA/77—Whereas Messrs Western India Spinning and Manu- facturing Company Limited, Bombay, owning an industrial undertaking, is being wound up by the High Court of Bombay and the business of this company is not being continued;

And, Whereas, the Central Government is. of the opinion that it is necessary, in the interests of the general public, and in particular, in the interest of produc- tion of the articles manufactured in the said industrial undertaking, to investigate into the possibility of running or restarting the aforesaid industrial undertaking,

And, whereas on an application made by the Central Government under section l5A of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (05 of 1951), to the High Court of Bombay praying for permission to make an investigation into such possibility, the High Court of Bombay has by an Order dated the 14th January, 1977, granted the requisite permission;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 15A of the In-dustries (Development and Regulation) Act 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Gov ernment hereby appoints Shri H Nanjundiah, Lalit Apartments, Wodehouse Road Bombay-5, for the purpose of making an investigation into the possibility of restarting the aforesaid industrial undertaking (75)
