S O 33(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Com- missions of Inquiry Act. 1952 (60 of 1952), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India an the Cabinet Secretariat (Department of Personnel and Administrative Re- forms) No 381/3/76-AVD.III [SO 74(E)], dated the 3rd February, 1976 (relat- ing to the Commission of Inquiry consisting of Shri Justice R S Sarkaria), pub- lished in the Gazette of India Extraordinary, Part II—Section 3—Sub-section (11), dated the 3rd February, 1976, namely:—
In paragraph 4 of the said notification, for the words, figures and letters "on or before the 1st day of February, 1977" the words figures and letters "on or before the 31st day of January, 1978" shall be substi- tuted.
