New Delhi, the 27th January 1977

G.S R. 43 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the fol- lowing amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) No 89/76-Central Excises, dated the 16th March, 1976, namely—

In the Table annexed to the said notification, in column 3, against S. No. 3, for the words "Rupees eighty-two per metric tonne" the words "Rupees sixty-five per metric tonne" shall be substituted.
