NOTIFICATION
New Delht, the 29th January 1977
G.S.R. 48(E).—Whereas certain draft rules further to amend the Aircraft Rules, 1937 were published, at pages 2400 to 2402 of the Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3, Sub-Section (i), dated the 18th September, 1976, with the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation No G.S.R. 1352, dated the 7th September, 1976, inviting objections and suggestions by the 31st October, 1976 from all persons likely 10 be effected thereby:
And Where is the said Gazette was made available to the public on the 18th Septem- ber, 1976;
And Whereas the objections and suggestions received from the public have been considered by the Central Government;
Now, Therefore in exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Aircraft Act, 1934 (22 of 1934), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Aircraft Rules, 1937, namely:—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Aircraft (Amendment) Rules, 1977.
(2) They shall come into force on the 1st February, 1977.

(i) IN SECTION B.—
(a) in the heading, for the worda "housing charges", the words "housing and parking charges" shall be substituted;
(b) for paragraph 1, the following paragraph shall be substituted, namely:—

H I. PARKING CHARGES:
For both International flights and flights other than international, parking charges shall be jo % of housing charges for all categon es of aircraft, after the first six hours." ;
(c) paragraph 6 shall be omjrted.
(d) to Section B, the following note shall be added at the end, namely — "NOTE:—The expression ''International fliohts" shell mean a flight in which the/ last point of departure in outside the limits o,f India."
(2) for Section C and the entries relating thereto, the following section and entries shall be substituted, namely:—
"Section C—Tariff for route navigation facilities.
(See rule 82)
The chirges tar route navigation facilities for all flights shall be as follows:—
(i) For aircraft landing at Bombay , Delhi, Calcutta or Madras airport'

Provided that aircraft exceeding a total weight of 60,000 kgs. shall pay route navTgaticn fixj- lities charges at the rate of Rs. 1,400-00 only if distance flown over the Indian Flight Information Reglon(s) is 500 km or less.
(h) For aircraft landing at other earodromes-
Rs. 4-00 per 1,000 kgi. of total weight of aircraft or part thereof.
(iii) For aircraft overflying India-
Route navigation facilities charge for Total weight of aircarft
each flight.
