S.O 53(E).—In pursuance of clause (1) of article 239 of the Constitution, the President herehy directs that the Administrator of every Union territory (whether known as Administrator, Lt Governor or Chief Commissioner) shall, subject to the control of the President and until further orders alsoe x e r c i sethe functions of the Central Government under the proviso to section 321 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974), in respect of cases involving offences under the Defence and Internal Security of India Rules, 1971, with in that Union territory
