SUBJECT.—Direct allotment of imported raw materials by the canalising agen- cies—Extension of last date for submission of applications.
No. 10-ITC(PN)/77.—Attention is invited to Open General Licence No. CVI and CVII. issued under Import Trade Control Order, No 23/76, dated the 27th December, 1976, and 24/76 dated the 31st December, 1976, respectively, allowing import of certain items by the canalising agencies i e , SAIL International Limited/ State Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Corporation of India Limited (CPC) under Open General Licence for meeting the requirements of actual users, in terms of para 90 of the Red Book (Volume I) for the period April. 1976—March, 1977.
2. It has been decided that applications for registration of requirements in respect of the items mentioned in Annexure I to the aforesaid Open General Licences with the canalising agencies concerned, namely, SAIL International Limited/State Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Corporation of India Limited, can be made upto the 31st March, 1977.
