S.O. 13G(E),—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Sec- tion 0 of the Equal Remuneration Act, 1976 (25 of 1976), the Central Government hereby specifies the employments, in the manufacture of food products mentioned in the Schedule annexed hereto, for the purpose of constitution of one or more Advisory Committees, by the appropriate Government to advise it with regard to the extent to which women may be employed in such employments

Employments in the manufacture of food products—
1 Slaughtering, preparation and preservation of meat 2 Manufacture of dairy products 3. Canning and preservation of fruits and vegetables 4. Canning, preserving and processing of fish crustaceam and similar foods 5 Grain mill products 6 Manufacture of bakery products.

S.O. 137 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of Sec- ion 1 of the Equal Remuneration Act, 197H (25 oi Iu78>, the Central Government icrebv appoints the 10th. dav of February, 1W77, as the date on which the said A.ct shall come Into force in respect of employments, in the manufacture of food products, specified in the schedule hereto annexed.
