GS.R. 61 ) . The following draft of rules further to amend the Prevention of Food Adul- teration Rules , 1955 , which the Central Government proposes to make in exercise of the powers onferrel by ton 23 real with clause ( a) of sub - acction (2) of section 4 of the Prevention of Food Abulteration Act , 1954 ( 37 of 1954) is hereby published , as required by sub - section ( 1) of th and section 23 , for the information of all persons likely toto be affected thereby; and notice is hereby given that the sud draft rules will be taken into consideration after the expity of th days from the date on which the copies of the Gazette of India in which this notification is pub- lished are made available to the public
Any objection or suggestion , which may be received from any person with respect to the said draft riles before the expiry of the period as specified , will be considered by the Central Government .
DRAFT RULES
1. These rules may be called the Prevention of Food Adulteration (Amendment ) Rujes 1977 .
In the Prevention of Food Adulteration Rules , 1955 (hereinafter referred to as the 2 and rule , in rule 2, for clause( e), the following clause shall be subnettmed, namely :-
"(e) 'Laboratory' means Central Food Laboratory." .

3. Rule 3 of the said rules , shall be renumbered as sub - rule ( 1 ) thereof and after sub - rule (1) as so renumbered , the following a - b - rule shall be inserted , namely
"(2) The Laboratory specified in c lumn ( 1 ) of the Table below shall carry out the fu ctions entrusted to it by the Act or these rules in respect of the local area specified in the corresponding ent.y in column (2 ) thereof

जा ० का मि ० 64' ) --केन्द्रीय सरकार, ब्राश्य श्रपमिश्रण निवारण अधिनियम , 1954 ( 1954 का 37 ) की धारा 4 की उपधारा ( 2 ) के खण्ड ( क ) के साथ पठित धारा 23 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुने , खाद्य अ मिश्रण निवारण निगम , 1955 में श्रऔर नशाधन करना चाहती है । जैा कि उक्त धारा 23 को उपधारा ( 1 ) में अपेक्षित है , प्रम्नावि । सगोधनो का निम्न- लिखित प्रारूप उन सभी गतियों की जानगरी के लिए प्रकाशित किया जा रहा है , जिसके उससे प्रभ वित होने की सम्भावन है । इसके द्वारा सूचना दी जाती है कि उत्रन प्रारूप पर उम तारीख से तीम दिन की सभा के पश्त्रात् विचार किया जाएगा, जिम तारी को लम राज-पत्न की प्रतिया, जि में यह अधिसूचना प्रकाशिन होती है , जनता को उपलब्ध नई जाती है ।
कार विनिदिष्ट श्राधि की समाप्ति के पूर्व नियमों के उक्त प्रारूप की बाबत जो भी प्राक्षेप या सुझाव किसी व्यक्ति से प्राप्त होंगे , केन्द्रीय सरकार उन पर विचार करेगी ।

नियमों का प्रारूप
1. इन नियमों का नाम खाद्य श्रमिश्रण निवारण ( संशोधन ) नियम , 1977 है ।
2. खाद्य श्रनमिश्रग निवारण नियम , 1955 ( जिन्हें इसमें इपके पश्चात् उक्त नियम कहा गया है ) में, नियम 2 में, खण्ड ( ग ) के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित खण्ड रखा जाएगा , अर्थात्
" (ग ) 'प्रयोगशाना' से केन्द्रीय खाद्य प्रयोगतामा अभिप्रेन है । "
3. उक्त नियमों के नियम 3 को उपके उनियम ( i ) के रूप में पुर्नसंख्याकित किया जाएगा और इस प्रकार पुर्नसख्याकित उपनियम ( i ) के पश्चात् निम्नलिखित उपनियम अन्न स्थापित किया जाएगा , श्रर्यात्
" ( 2 ) नीचे को सारणी के स्तम्भ ( 1 ) में विदिदिष्ट प्रयोगशाला , उसके सम्भ ( 2 ) मैं को तत्सम्वन्धी प्रत्रिष्टि में विष्टि स्थानीय क्षेत्र की बाबत , अधिनियम या इन नियमों द्वारा उसे सोपे गए कृत्यों का पालन करेगी ।
