Mew Delhi, the 10th February 1977

Ma. F. 2/2/76-B.O, II—Government of India have, with immediate effect

accepted the resignation of Shri Manubhai Shah from the Chairmanship of the

Banking Commission which was set up to review comprehensively the existing

organisational structure of the twenty-two public sector banks vide Department of

Revenue and Banking (Banking Wing) Resolution No. 2/2/76-B.O. II dated the

28th July, 1976.
