In excrcise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of Sec- tion 22 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 ( 43 of 1951 ) , the Election Commission hereby appoints , in addition to the officers appointed vide its Notifica- tion No 434 / UP / HP / 77 (1 ) , dated 29 January , 1977 , Sri Ram Adhin Ram , Extra Officer - 1 , Azamgarh , to be the Assistant Returning Officer for 44 - Ghosi , 45 -Azam- garh and 46 - Lalganj ( SC ) Parliamentary constituencies
