G.S.R. 97 ( E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 3 of the All India Service Act , 1951 (61 of 1951 ) and rule II of the Indian Police Service (Pay) Rules , 1954, the Central Government after consultation with the Governments of the States concerned hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Indian Police Service ( Pay) Rules , 1954 , namely :-
1. (1 ) These rules may be called the Indian Police Service (Pay) Third Amendment Rules , 1977.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .
2. In Schedule III to the Indian Police Service ( Pay) Ruks , under the heading " C. Posts carrying pay above the time- scale or special pay in addition to pay in the time scale under the

सा० का० ति० 97 ( श्र ) -अखिल भारतीय सेवा अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 61) की धारा 3 की उपधारा ( 1 ) तथा भारतीय पुलिस सेवा ( वेतन ) नियम , 1954 के नियम 11 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्रीय सरकार, सम्बन्धित राज्य सरकारों से परामर्श करने के पश्चात् भारतीय पुलिस सेवा ( वेतन ) नियम , 1954 में और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्न- लिखित नियम बनाती है , अर्थास्:--
1. ( 1 ) इन नियमों का नाम भारतीय पुलिस सेवा ( वेतन) तीसरा संशोधन नियम , 1977 है ।
( 2 ) ये राजपत्नत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख से प्रवृत्त होंगे ।

2. भारतीय पुलिस सेवा ( वेतन ) नियम, 1954 की अनुसूची III में , ' ग- केन्द्रीय सरकार के अधीन काल वेतनमान से अधिक वेतन वाले अथवा काल वेतनमान में वेतन के अतिरिक्त, विशेष वेतन वाले पद, जब वे उक्त सेवा के सदस्यों द्वारा धारित हों, ' शीर्षक के अधीन 'केन्द्रीय अन्वेषण ब्यूरों' के सामने निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियां, अर्थात् : --

In exercise of the powers conferred by aub - section ( 1 ) read with sub- section ( IA) of(IA) of section 3 of the All India Services Act , 1951 (61 of 1951) read with Rule II of the Indian Police Service ( Pay) Rules , 1954 , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Indian Police Service ( Pay ) Rulcs , 1954 , namely :-
1. ( 1 ) These rules may be called the Indian Police Service (Pay) Second Amendment Rules , 1977 .
(ii ) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .

सा० का ० ति० 98 ( श्र ) केन्द्रीय सरकार, भारतीय पुलिस सेवा ( वेतन ) नियम , 1954 के नियम 11 के साथ पठित अखिल भारतीय सेवा अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 61 ) की धारा 3 की उपधारा 1 ( क ) के साथ पठित उपधारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए केन्द्रीय सरकार भारतीय पुलिस सेवा ( वेतन ) नियम , 1954 मे और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्न- लिखित नियम बनाती है , अर्थात्:-
1. ( i ) इन नियमों का नाम भारतीय पुलिस सेवा ( वेतन ) दूसरा संशोधन मियम 1977 है ।
( ii ) ये' राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. भारतीय पुलिस सेवा ( वेतन ) नियम , 1954 की अनुसूची III मे " ग-वे पव, जिनका वेतन काल बेतनमान से अधिक है या जिनके साथ केन्द्रीय सरकार के अधीन , जब पद सेवा के भाग II खं . 3 ( 1 )

G.S.R.99 (E ) . In excrcise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1) of section 3 of the All India Services Act , 1951 (61 of 1951 ) , the Central Government , after consultation with the Governments of the States concerned , hereby makes the following rules further to amend the dian Police Service (Pay) Rules, 1954 namely :-
1. ( 1 ) These rules may be called the Indian Police Service (Pay) first Amendment Rules 1977 .
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .
2. In the Indian Police Service ( Pay) Rules , 1954, ( 1 ) after rule 9B , the following rule shall be inserted , namely :
"9C Regulation of pay of members of the service appointed to hold peats in the Central Secretariat in the scale of pay of Rs . 2000-125 / 2-2250 :-
Notwithstanding anything contained in rules 8 and 9, the pay of memlers of the service appointed to hold posts in the Central Secretariat and carrying a scale of pay of Rs . 2000-125/ 2-2250 shall be regulated in the manner indicated bel w :
(a) He shall draw pay in the scale of pay of the post ; or
(b) his grade pay and a special pay of Rs . 300/ per mensem subject to the conditic n that the pay and the special pay to gether do not exceed R8 , 2450 / - per menson . "
3. The regulation of pay , in accordance with clause (a) or clause ( b) of sub - rulc ( 1 ) shall be at the option of the member of the service concerned , which should be obtained on his first ap- pointment to a post carrying pay in the scale of Rs . 2000-125 / 2-2250 and on every subsequent occasion when there 18 a change in the scale in which he would have drawn pay but for lus appointment to the said post .
( ii) in Schedule III , the following shall be added at the end , namely :
"D. Posts in the Central Secretariat carrying pay above the time - scale or special pay in addition to the time scale when held by meml ers of the service .

सा० का ० ति० 99 ( म) अखिल भारतीय सेवाएं अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 61) की धारा 3 की उपधारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए केन्द्रीय सरकार संबंधित राज्य सरकारों से परामर्श करने के पश्चात् एतद्वारा भारतीय पुलिस सेवा ( वेतन ) नियम, 1954 में आगे भौर संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है, अर्थात्:-
1. ( 1 ) इन नियमो का नाम भारतीय पुलिस सेवा ( वेतन ) संशोधन नियम, 1977 है ।
( 2 ) ये नियम रराजपत्त में प्रकाशन की तारीख से प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. भारतीय पुलिस सेवा ( वेतन ) नियम, 1954 में-
( i ) नियम 9 ख के बाद निम्नलिखित नियम रखा जायेगा , अर्थात्:-
" 9-ग केन्द्रीय सचिवालय में 2000-125/ 2-2250 रु ० के वेतनमान के पदों पर नियुक्ति किए गए सेवा के सदस्यों के वेतन का विनियमनः- नियम 8 और 9 में मन्वष्ट किसी बात के होते हुए भी, केन्द्रीय सचिवालय मे 2000-125 / 2- 2250 रु ० के वेतनमान वाले पक्षों पर नियुक्त किए गए सेवा के सदस्यों वेतन का विनियमन निम्नप्रकार से किया जाएगा:-
(क) वह पद के वेतनमान में वेतन लेगा; या
( ख ) वह अपना ग्रेड वेतन और 300 रु ० प्रनिमास का विशेष वतन इस स के मधीन रहते हुए लेगा कि वेतन और विशेष वेतन वोनों का मिल कर प्रतिमास 2450 रु ० से अधिक न हो । " ו
3. उप नियम ( 1 ) के खड ( क ) अथवा ( ख) के अनुसार बेशन का विनियमन सेवा के संबंधित सदस्य के विपल्प पर होगा जो 2000-125 / 2-2250 रु ० के वेतनमान वाले पद पर उसको पहली नियुक्ति और ऐसे बाद के प्रत्येक अवसर पर लिया जाना चाहिए जब उस वेतनमान में कोई परिवर्तन हो, जिसमें उसने , यदि उक्त पद पर उसकी नियुक्ति न हुई होती , वेतन लिया होता ;
( ii ) अनुसूची ILI ( ग ) के बाद, निम्नलिखित अनुसूची जोड़ी जाएगी, अर्थात्:--
(घ ) केन्द्रीय सचिवालय के वे पद , जिन पर उक्त सेवा के सदस्य नियुक्त होने की स्थिति में, समय वेतनमान हे अतिरिक्त वेतन देय हो या गमय वेतनमान के अलावा विशेष वेतन देय हो:-
