ORDER

New Delhi, the 17th March 1977SO. 240(E)/18FB/IDRA/17—Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Industry and Civil Supplies (Department of Heavy Industry) No. S O 146(E) dated the l9th March, 1975 (hereinafter referred to as the said Order), the Central Government in exercise of the powers con- ferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 18FB of the Industries (Deve- lopment and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), declared that the operation of all contracts, assurances of property, agreements, settlements, awards, standing orders or other instruments entered into, given or made, as the case may be before the 15th February, 1974 to which the industrial undertaking known as Messrs Britannia Engineering Works (Wagons Division), Mokameh, in the State of Bihar or the company owning such undertaking is a party or which may be applicable to such industrial undertaking or company and in force immediately before the date of issue of the said Order shall remain suspended upto the 18th March, 1976, and that all the rights, privileges, obligations and liabilities accruing or arising thereunder before the said date, shall remain sus- Dendf-d unto the 18th March, 1976, (l20l)

And, whereas, by the Order of the Central Government In the late Ministry of Industry and Civil Supplies (Department of Industrial Development) No. SO. 183 (E) dated the 9th March, 1976, the duration of the said Order was ex- tended upto and inclusive of the ISth March, 1977;

And, whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that the duration of the said Order should be extended for a further period upto the 18th March, 1978;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub- section (1), read with sub-sectiori (2), of section 18FB of the Industries (Develop- ment and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government hereby extends the duration of the said Order upto the lBth March, 1978,
