ORDER

New Delhi, the 18th March 1977

S.O. 242(E).—Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Industrial Development and Internal Trade (Department of Industrial Development) No S O 1482, dated the 31st March, 1971, read with the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Industry and Civil Supplies (Depart- ment of Industrial Development) No S O 184(E), dated the 9th March, 1976, the management of the industrial undertaking known as Messrs Gresham and Craven of India (Private) Limited, Calcutta, had been taken over under section 18A of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951) for a period upto and inclusive of the 20th March, 1977,

And whereas the Central Government is of opinion that it is expedient in the public interest that the Order first mentioned above should continue to have effect for a further period of one year,Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub- section (2) of section 18A of the said Act, the Central Government hereby directs that the Order first mentioned above shall continue to have effect for a further period of one year.
