नई दिल्ली, 9 मार्च, 1977
का ०नि ०ग्रा ० 8-ई- केन्द्रीय सरकार, नौसेना अधिनियम , 1957 ( 1957 का 62 ) की धारा 184 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियो का प्रयोग करते हुए , नौसैनिक औपचारिकता, सेवा की शर्तें और प्रकीर्ण विनियम , 1964 में और सशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम विनियम बनाती है, अर्थात्
1--(1) इन विनियमो का नाम नौसैनिक औपचारिकता, सेवा की शर्तें और प्रकीर्ण (प्रथम सशोधन) विनियम, 1977 है ।
( 2 ) ये राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होगे ।

2--नौसैनिक श्रौपचारिकता , मेवा की शर्तें और प्रकीर्ण विनियम , 1964 में
(i ) विनियम 155 में,
( क ) खण्ड ( ख ) के उपखण्ड ( 1) में , " किन्तु 8 वर्ष से अनधिक ज्येष्ठता " शब्दों और अंक का लोप किया जाएगा ।
( ख ) स्पष्टीकरण 1 के स्थान पर , निम्नलिखित रखा जाएगा , श्रर्थात् :--
"स्पष्टीकरण-इस खण्ड में तिरते हुए पोत पर सेवा की शर्तें नौसैनिक प्रोवोस्ट और आयुधादि निरीक्षण कर्तव्यो पर स्थायी रूप से नियोजित अधिकारियो को लागू नही होगी , "
( ग) स्पष्टीकरण 2 का लोप किया जाएगा ,
(11 ) विनियम 158 के खण्ड (ख ) के उपखण्ड ( 1) मैं, " किन्तु 10 वर्ष से अनधिक ज्येष्ठता" शब्दो और अको का लोप किया जाएगा ;
(11 ) विनियम 161 के खण्ड ( ख ) के उपखण्ड ( 1 ) में , " किन्तु 10 वर्ष से अनधिक ज्येष्ठता" शब्दो और अंको का लोप किया जाएगा ;
(iv ) विनियम 164 के खण्ड ( ख ) के उपखण्ड ( i ) में, " किन्तु 10 वर्ष से अनधिक ज्येष्ठता" शब्दो और श्रको का लोप किया जाएगा ,
( V) विनियम 171 के खण्ड ( क) में , " किन्तु 10 वर्ष मे अनधिक ज्येष्ठता " शब्दो और अको का लोप किया जाएगा ।

NOTIFICATION New Delhi , the 9th March 1977
S.R.O. 8 ( E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by section 184 of the Navy Act, 1957 ( 62 of 1957 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following regula- tions further to amend the Naval Ceremonial , Conditions of Service and Miscellane- ous Regulations , 1964 , namely-
1. ( 1 ) These regulations may be called the Naval Ceremonial , Conditions of Service and Miscellaneous ( First Amendment ) Regulations , 1977 .
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette
2 In the Naval Ceremonial , Conditions of Service and Miscellanecus Regula- tions , 1964-
(i ) in regulation 155 ,-
(a) in sub - clause ( i ) of clause ( b ) , the words and figure " but not more than 8 years' seniority " shall be omitted .
(b) for Explanation 1 , the following shall be substituted namely "Explanation. The conditions of afloat service in this clause shall not apply to officers permanently employed on naval provost and armament ins- pection duties ." भाग 11-खं . 4

( c) Explanation 2 shall be omitted ,
( ii ) in sub -clause ( 1 ) of clause ( b ) of regulation 158 , the words and figures "but not more than 10 years' seniority " shall be omitted;
( iii ) in sub - clause ( 1 ) of clause ( b ) of regulation 161 , the words and figures "but not more than 10 years ' seniority " shall be omitted ;
( iv ) in sub - clause ( 1 ) of clause ( b ) of regulation 164 , the words and figures 'but not more than 10 years' seniority " shall be omitted ,
(v) m clause ( a ) of regulation 171 the words and figures " but not more than 10 years ' seniority " shall be omitted .
