NOTIFICATION
CENTRAL EXCISES
New Delhi, the 25th March 1977
G.S.R 127(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944 the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification specified in the Table below of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance), namely —
The TABLE
(1) in notification No 67/73 Central Excises dated the 1st March, 1973 in the proviso for the words "shall he reduced by seventy five rupees per metric tonne" the words, figures and letters "shall be reduced by seventy five rupees per metric tonne upto the period ending with the 30th day of September, 1977" shall be substituted,
f2) in notification No 43/74-Central Excises dated the 1st March 1974 in the second proviso for the words "shall be reduced by seventy five rupees per metric tonne", words, figures and letters "shall be reduced by seventy five rupees per metric tonne upto the period ending with the 30th day of September 1977" shall be substituted,

Phe exemption .granted by this_ notification shall remain In force uptoand inclusive of the 30th day of September, 1977".
