NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 26th March 1977
G.S.R. 130 (E).—Whereas the management of the undertaking of the Indian Iron and Steel Company Limited had vested in the Central Government by virtue of the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Indian Iron and Steel Company (Taking Over of Management) Act, 1972 (50 of 1972), and that Government is continuing to manage the undertaking of the said company
And whereas the said company has, in pursuance of a requisition made by its members, convened a general meeting and the company in general meetmg has constituted a new Board of Directors
And whereas the Central Government is satisfied that the purposes of the vesting of the management of the undertaking of the said company in that Gov- ernment have been fulfilled
Now therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Indian Iron and Steel Company (Taking Over of Management) Act, 1972 the Central Government hereby relinquishes the management of the undertaking of the said company with effect from the 28th day of March, 1977
