ORDER
New Delhi , the 30th March 1977
S.O. 278 ( E ) .- Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Industrial Development and Internal Trade ( Department of Industrial Development ) , No S.O 1482 , dated the 31st March , 1971 , read with the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Industry and Cıvıl Supplies No. SO 184 ( E ) , dated the 9th March , 1976 and the Ministry of Industry No. S.O 242 ( Ε ) , dated 18th March , 1977 the management of the industrial undertaking known as Messrs Gresham and Craven of Indın Private Limited , Calcutta (hereinafter referred to as the said industrial undertaking ) had been taken over under section 18A of the Industries ( Development and Regulation ) Act , 1951 ( 65 of 1951 ) , for a period upto and inclusive of the 31st day of March , 1978 ,
And whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Industrial Development No SO 555 ( E ) , dated the 14th August , 1972 ( hercinafter referred to as the said Order ) , read with the orders of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Heavy Industry Nos S.O 436 ( E ) , dated the 10th August , 1973 , 490 ( E ) , dated the 9th August , 1974, 434 ( E ) dated the 14th August , 1975 and 260 ( E) , dated the 30th March , 1976 , the Central Government , in exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( b ) of Sub - section ( 1 ) of section 18FB of the said Act , declared that the operation of all contracts , assurances of property , agreements , settlements , awards , standing orders or other instruments in force to which the

said industrial undertaking was a party or which may be applicable to it immedi- ately before the 31st day of March , 1971 , shall remain suspended upto the 30th of March , 1977 ,
And whereas the Central Government is satisfied that the duration of the said Order should be extended by a further period upto the 13th of August , 1977 ;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( b ) of sub - section (1) , read with sub - section ( 2 ) , of section 18FB of the Industries ( Development and Regulation ) Act , 1951 ( 65 of 1951 ) , the Central Government hereby extends the duration of the said Order by a further period upto and inclusive of the 13th of August , 1977 .

का० ग्रा ० 278 ( थ) .--भारत सरकार के भूतपूर्व उद्योग और नागरिक पूति मंत्रालय (श्रौद्योगिक विकास विभाग ) के आदेश स ० का ० श्रा ० 184 ( अ ) तारीख 9 मार्च , 1976 तथा उद्योग मन्त्रालय के का ० आ० सं ० 242 ( श्र ) , तारीख 18 मार्च , 1977 के साथ पठित भारत सरकार के भूतपूर्व औद्योगिक विकास और आन्तरिक व्यापार मन्त्रालय ( औद्योगिक विकास विभाग ) के आदेश स ० का ० आ ० 1482 , तारीख 31 मार्च , 1971 द्वारा , मैसर्स ग्रेशम एण्ड क्रेबन श्राफ इडिया ( प्राइवेट ) लिमिटेड , कलकत्ता ( जिसे इसने इसके पश्चात् उक्त औद्योगिक उपक्रम कहा गया है ) नामक औद्योगिक उपक्रम का प्रबन्ध , उद्योग (विकास और विनियमन) अधिनियम, 1951 ( 1951 को 65) की धारा 18 क के अधीन 31 मार्च , 1978 तक के लिए , जिसने यह तारीख भी सम्मिलित है, ग्रहण कर लिया गया था ;
और भारत सरकार के भूतपूर्व भारी उद्योग मंत्रालय के श्रादेश सं ० का ० आ० 436( अ ) , तारीख 10-8-1973 , 490 ( म ) , तारीख 9-8-1974 , 434 ( श्र ) , तारीख 14-8-1975 श्रौर 260( श्र ) , तारीख 30-3-1976 के साथ पठित भारत सरकार के भूतपूर्व औद्योगिक विकास मन्त्रालय के आदेश स ० का ० श्रा ० 555 ( श्र ) , तारीख 14-8-1972 (जिसे इसमे इसके पश्चात् उक्त आदेश कहा गया है ) द्वारा , केन्द्रीय सरकार ने , उक्त अधि- नियम की धारा 18 चख की उपधारा ( 1 ) के खण्ड ( ख) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए घोषित किया गया था कि उन सभी सविदाओं, सपत्ति सम्बन्धी हस्तान्तरण पत्त्रो, करारों, समझौतो, पचाटों, स्थायी आदेशो या अन्य लिखतों का, जो प्रवृत्त हों तथा उक्त औद्योगिक उपक्रम जिसमे पक्षकार हो अथवा जो उसे 31 मार्च , 1971 से ठीक पूर्व लागू हो सकती हों, प्रवर्तन 30 मार्च, 1977 पयन्त स्थगित रहेगा ;
और केन्द्रीय सरकार का यह समाधान हो गया है कि उक्त आदेश की अवधि 13 अगस्त, 1977 तक की और अवधि के लिए विस्तारित की जानी चाहिए , भौरते की असाधारण रोजपत्र

अत. , अब , औद्योगिक ( विकास और विनियमन ) अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 65) की धारा 18 चख की उपधारा ( 2 ) के साथ पठित उपधारा ( 1 ) के खण्ड (ख ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियो का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्रीय सरकार, उक्त आदेश की अवधि 13 अगस्त, 1977 तक, जिसमे यह तारीख भी सम्मिलित है , और अवधि के लिए विस्तारित करती है ।
