NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 7th April 1977
S.O. 292(E).—Whereas the Election Commission by its notification No 464/77, dated 22 March, 1977 had cancelled the poll in 13 Firozepur Parliamentary Constituency m the State of Punjab and extended the time of completion of election upto 30 April, 1977,
And whereas the Election Commission by its notification No 464/77, dated 26 March, 1977, had appointed 17 April, 1977 (Sunday) as the date on which a fresh poll was to be taken in the constituency;
And whereas the Election Commission is satisfied that it is necessary to extend further the time for the completion of the election;
1^12 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY PART n—Sw$, 3(ii) subsequently amended by the notifications No. 464/77, dated 25 February, 1977 and 22 March, 1077, In respect of the above election as follows.—In clause (d) of item (i) of the said notification relating to the completion of the election, for the words, "30 April, 1977 (Saturday)" in item (ii), the words "1 May, 1977 (Sunday)" shall be substituted.
