CENTRAL EXCISES
New Delhi , the 13th April 1977
G.S.R. 182 ( E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by section 37 of the Central Excises and Salt Act , 1944 ( 1 of 1944 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central Excise Rules , 1944 , namely.-
1977 1 These rules may be called the Central Excise ( 10th Amendment ) Rules
2. In the Central Excise Rules , 1944 in rule 2-
(1) in clause ( 11 ) (A) --
( a ) for sub - clause ( b ) , the following sub - clause shall be substituted , namely.
" ( b) in the districts and talukas of the State of Maharashtra other than those specified in sub - clause ( 1 ) and ( n ) , the collector of Central Excise . Bombay" ;

(b ) for sub - clause ( n ) , the following sub - clause shall be substituted, namely.-
" ( n ) in the districts of Ahmednagar , Jalgaon , Dhulia , Nasık , Pune , Satara, Sholapur , Sanglı, Kohlapur , Osmanabad, Kolaba , Ratna- giri and Thana except Thana taluka , all of Maharashtra State , the Collector of Central Excise , Pune " ;
( c ) for sub - clause ( r ) , the following sub - clause shall be substituted , namely.-
" ( r ) m the territory of Gos of the Union territory of Goa, Daman and Diu , the Collector of Customs and Central Excise , Goa " ,
( 2) in clause ( na ) , for sub - clause ( a ) , the following sub -clause shall be substituted, namely
"( a ) in relation to an order or decision of an officer of Central Excise subordinate to the Collector of Central Excise , Bombay ; Collec- tor of Customs and Central Excise , Goa , Collector of Central Ex- else , Pune ; Collector of Central Excise, Baroda : Collector of Cen- tral Excise , Alımedabad , Development Commissioner , Kandla Free Trade Zone , and Collecion of Central Excise , Nagpur ; the Appel- late Collector of Central Excise , Bombay" .

सा० का ० नि ० 182 ( प्र ) -केन्द्रीय सरकार , केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क और नमक अधिनियम, 1944 ( 1944 का 1 ) की धारा 37 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियो का प्रयोग करते हुए केन्द्रीय उत्पाद- शुल्क नियम , 1944 में और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है , अर्थात्
1. इन नियमों का नाम केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क ( 10 मशोधन ) नियम, 1977 है ।
2. केन्द्रीय उत्पाद- शुल्क नियम, 1944 के नियम 2 में,
( क ) में,
( 1 ) खण्ड ( ii )
(क ) खण्ड ( ख ) के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित खण्ड रखा जाएगा , अर्थात् ---
'(ख ) महाराष्ट्र राज्य के, खण्ड ( ठ ) और ( ढ़ ) में विनिर्दिष्ट से भिन्न, राज्यों और ताल्लुको में केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क कलेक्टर , मुम्बई' ;
(ख ) उपखण्ड ( ठ ) के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित उपखण्ड रखा जाएगा , अर्थात्
( ठ) महाराष्ट्र राज्य के अहमदनगर , जलगाव , धूलिया , नासिक, पुणे , सतारा , शोलापुर सागली, कोल्हापुर , ओसमानाबाद , कोलाबा , रत्नगिरि और थाना , सिवाय थाना ताल्लुक के , जिलो में , केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क कलेक्टर, पुणे , भारत का असाधारण राजपत्र

(ग ) खण्ड ( द ) के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित उपखण्ड रखा जाएगा , अर्थात् --
'( द ) गोवा, दमन और दीव सघ राज्यक्षेत्र के गोवा राज्यक्षेत्र में, सीमा-शुल्क औरकेन्द्रीय उत्पाद- शुल्क कलेक्टर, गोवा' ;
( 2) खण्ड ( ii क ) में, उपखण्ड ( क ) के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित उपखण्ड रखा जाएगा , अर्थात् : -
' (क ) केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क कलेक्टर मुम्बई, सीमा शुल्क और केन्द्रीय उत्पाद -शुल्क कलेक्टर, गोवा , केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क कलेक्टर , पुणे , केन्द्रीय उत्पाद -शुल्क कलेक्टर , बड़ौदा, केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क कलेक्टर, अहमदाबाद , विकास आयुक्त, काण्डला मुक्त व्यापार क्षेत्र , और केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क कलेक्टर , नागपुर के अधीनस्थ किसी केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क अधिकारी के आदेश या विनिश्चय के संबंध में , केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क कलेक्टर ( अपील ) मुम्बई , ' ।
