CENTRAL EXCISES

New Delhi, the 12th May 1977

G.S.R. 239 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India, Department of Revenue and Banking No. 85/77-Central Excises, dated the 9th May, 1977, namely —

In the said notification, in the proviso, for the words, figures and letters "on orafter the 9th day of May, 1077", the words "at the rate of thirty rupees per kilogram" shall be substituted. [No 90/77] LAJJA RAM, Dy. Secy. (853)
