ELECTION COMMISSION OF INDIA NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 13th May 1977
S.O, 336(E).—In pursuance of clause (d) of sub-paragraph (1) and sub-para- graph (2) of paragraph 17 of the Election Symbols (Reservation and Allotment) Order, 1968, the Commission hereby makes the following amendments in its notifi- cation No 56/77-II, dated 9 February, 1977, published as S.O. 152(E) in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, section 3(ii), dated 9 February, 1977 and as amended from tune to time, namely-— In Table 3 of the said notification.—
(1) against item No 3-Bihar, under column 2, the entry "(6) Cultivator cut- ting crop" shall be deleted and entries (7) to (19) shall be re-numbered as (6) to (18),
(ii) against item No 4-Gujarat, under column 2, the entries "(4) Cultivator cutting crop" and "(l?i) Two cultivators cutting crop" shall be deleted and entries (5) to (14) shall be re-numbered as (4) to (13) and entry (16) shall be re-numbered as (14);
(iii) against item No, 8-Karnataka, under column 2, the entry "(5) Cultivator cutting crop" shall be deleted ...and entries (6) to (16) shall be re-num- bered as (5) to (15);
(iv) against item No 21-Uttar Pradesh, under column 2, the entry "(23) Two cultivators cutting crop" shall be deleted and entry (24) shall be re- numbered as (23); and
