G.S.R. 245(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of sec- tion 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), read with sub-section (i) of section 32 of the Finance Act, 1976 (66 of 197b), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts pa oil falling within chapter 15 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, (51 of 1975), when imported into India from —
(a) so much of that portion of the duty of customs leviable thereon, where is specified in the said First Schedule as is in excess of 20 per cent ad valorem, and
(b) the whole of the auxiliary duty of customs leviable thereon under sub- section (1) of section 32 of the said Finance Act

(b) the whole of the auxiliary duty of customs leviable thereon under sub- section (1) of section 32 of the paid Finance Act

G.SR. 247(E) -In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) cf sec- tion 25 ol the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1062), read with sub-section (4) of section 32 of the Finance Ad, 197fi (6fi of 1976J, the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Depart- ment of Revenue and Banking (Revenue Wing) No 25-Customs, dated 8th February, 1977, namely —
In the said notification, paragraph 2 shall be omitted.

G.S R. 248(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of sec- tion 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), read with sub-section (4) of section 32 of the Finance Act, 1976 (66 of 197H), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in 1he public interest so to dn, hereby exempts any dumper falling -within Chapter R7 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tanlf Act 1075 (51 of 19751—
(a) of which the net weight (excluding pay-load) is more than eight tonnes. and which is designed for a pay-load" of ten tonnes or more, and
(b) which IH designed for use oil the high way,
from so much of that portion of the duty of customs leviable thereon under the said First Schedule at, is in excess of 40 per cent ad valorem and the whole of the auxiliary duty of customs leviable thereon under tub-section (1) of section 32 of the said Finance Act.
