(Office of the Controller of Capital issues) NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 24th, May 1977

' S.O. S66(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section .12 of the Capital Issues (Control) Act, 1947 (29 of 1947), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Capital Issues (Applica- tions for Consent; Rules. 3986, namely:

1. (i) These rules may be called the Capital issues (application for Consent) (Amendment) Rules, 1977.

(ii) They shall come into force or the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Capital Issues (Application for Consent) Rules. 1966. in jule 4, for sub-rules (2) and (3), the following Sub-rule shall, be Substituted, namely:—

"(2) The amount specified in column (2) of the 'Table below sub-rule (1) shall be tendered to the Office of the Controller of Capital Issues, in the form of a Demand Draft on State Bank of India, Central Secre- tariat Branch, New Delhi, in favour of the Controller of Capital Issues, Ministry of Finance, New Delhi.
