ORDER
New Delhi, the 24th May 1977
S.O. 367 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955) the Central Government hereby makes the following Order to amend the Household Electrical Appliances. (Quality Control) Order, 1976, namely—
1 (1) This Order may be called the Household Electrical Appliances (Quality Control) Amendment Order, 1977.
(2) It shall come into force at once. 2 In the Household Electrical Appliances (Quality Control) Order, 1976 to clause 3, the following proviso shall be added, namely: —
"Provided that nothing in this clause shall apply to any household electrical appliance which is intended for export, if it conforms to any other standard (National or International) specified by the foreign buyer in a firm contract for the purchase of such appliance."
