NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 7th June 1977

S.O. 887 (E).—Whereas a general election has been held for the purpose of

Constituting a new House of the People;

And whereas the Vice-President acting as President is of opinion that the

Anglo-Indian community is not adequately represented in that House;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by article 331 of the

Constitution of India, the Vice-President acting as President is pleased to nominate

to the House of the People the following two members of that community,

namely: —
