G.S.R. 407 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of section 2 of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), read with rule 4 of Cen- tral Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby invests Shri A L. Nanda, posted as Deputy Collector of Central Excise in the Central Excise Collectorate, Allahabad, with the powers of a Collector of Central Excise in the said Collectorate.
