ORDER

New Delhi, the 28th June 1977

S.O. 424(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955, (10 of 1995), the Central Government hereby makes the following Order further to amend the House-hold Electrical Appliances (Quality Control) Order, 1976, namely: —

1. This Order may be called the House-hold Electrical Appliances (Quality Control), Amendment Order, 1977.

2 In clause 1 of the House-hold Electrical Appliances (Quality Control) Order, 1976, for sub-clause (2), the following sub-clause shall be substituted, namely:—

"(2) It shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint." [No. F. 11(31)/76-El. Ind.] G. N. MEHRA, Jt. Secy.
