CENTRAL EXCISES
New Delhi , the 2nd July 1977
G.S R. 470 ( E ) -In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - rule ( 1 ) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules , 1944 , the Central Government hereby exempts radios (including transistor sets ) falling under sub -item ( 2 ) of Item No. 33A of the First Schedule to the Central Excises and Salt Act , 1944 ( 1 of 1944 ) , of a value not exceed- ing one hundred and sixty - five rupees per set , from the whole of the duty of excise leviable thereon
Provided that the sets are manufactured in an industrial unit in respect of which an officer not below the rank of an Assistant Collector of Central Excise is satisfied that the sum total of the value of capital investment made from time to time on plant and machinery only is not more than rupees ten lakhs .
Explanation For the purposes of determining the value of any capital invest- ment , only the face value of such investment at the time when such investment was made shall be taken into account .

सा ० का नि० 470 ( अ) -केन्द्रीय सरकार, केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क नियम, 1944 के नियम 8 के उपनियम ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियो का प्रयाग करते हुए , केन्द्रीय उत्पाद- शुल्क और नमक अधिनियम , 1944 ( 1944 का 1 ) की प्रथम अनुसूचि की मद स ० 33 क की उपभद ( 2 ) के अन्तर्गत सम्मिलित रेडियो ( जिनके अन्तर्गत ट्रासिम्टर सैट भी है ) जिनका मूल्य एक सौ पैसठ रुपए प्रति सैट से अधिक नही है , उन पर उद्ग्रहणीय समस्त उत्पाद शुल्क से छूट देती है
परन्तु सैटो का विनिर्माण किसी ऐसे औद्योगिक एकक में किया जाता है जिसकी बाबत सहायक केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क कलक्टर से अन्यून रैंक के अधिकारी का यह समाधान हो जाए कि केवल भयत्न और मशीनो पर समय -समय पूजा निनिधान का कुल मल्य दस ।ख रुपए से अधिक नही है ।
स्पष्टीकरण.-किमी पूजी विनिधान के मूल्य का अवधारण करने के प्रयोजन के लिए ऐसे विनिधान का वह अकित मूल्य गणना में लिया जाएगा तब ऐसा विनिधान किया गया था ।

In exercise of the powers co erred by sub - rule ( 1 ) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules 1944 , the Central Gove unent hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India , Department of Revenue and Banking No 150/ 77 - Central Excises , datel the 18th June , 1977 , namely
In the said notification , în clause ( a) of the proviso,
(i) for the words " n.anufacture of steel 1gots or semi - finished steel " , the words "manufacture of steel ingot , semi - finished steel or steel cast- ings" shall be substituted ,
(11) for the words " such ingots or se . - finished steel " the words " such ingots , semi - finished steel or stc 1 castings " shall be substituted .

सा० का ० नि० 471 ( प्र ) -केन्द्रीय उत्पाद णुक नियम , 1944 के नियम 8 के नियम उपनियम ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियो का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्रीय सरकार , भारत सरकार के राजस्व और बैंकिंग विभाग की अधिसूचना स ० 150 77- केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क , तारीख 18 जून , 1977 में निम्नलिखित सशोधन करती है , अर्थात: -
उक्त अधिसूचना में , परन्तुक के खण्ड ( क ) मे,
(i ) " इस्पात मिल्लियो ( इनगाट ) या अर्थरि पित इस्पात के विनिर्माण मे " शब्दो के लिए, " इस्पात सिल्लियो ( इनाट ) , अर्ध-परिवपित इस्पात या इस्पात के साचो के विनिर्माण मे " शब्द प्रतिस्थापित किये जायेगे , भाग II-खं . 3 (1 )

( ii ) " ऐसी सिल्लियों या अर्ध-परिरूपित इस्पात " शब्दो के लिए , " ऐसी सिल्लियों, अर्ध- परिक्रूपित इस्पात या इस्पात के साचो " शब्द प्रतिस्थापित किये जायेंगे ।
