G.S.R. 477 ( E ) .-- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of sec- tion 3 of the All India Services Act, 1951 ( 61 of 1951 ) , the Central Government after consultation with the Governments of the States concerned and the Union Public Service Commission , hereby makesmakes the following rules further to amend the Indian Administrative Service ( Recruitment ) Rules , 1954 , namely:---
1 ( 1 ) These rules may be called the Indıarı Administrative Service ( Recruit- ment) Second Amendment Rules , 1977 .
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette
2 In Rule 9 ( 1 ) of the Indian Administrative Service ( Recruitment ) Rules , 1954, for the figures and words " 25 per cent " , the figures and words " 33-1 / 3 per cent shall be substituted

सा० फा० ति० 477 ( अ) केन्द्रीय सरकार, अखिल भारतीय अधिनियम, 1951 (1951 का 61 ) की धारा 3 को उपधारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियो का प्रयोग करते हुए , सम्बद्ध राज्य सरकारों और संघ लोक सेवा आयाग से परामर्श करने के पश्चात् भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा ( भर्ती) नियम , 1954 में और सशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाते है , अर्थात्:-
1.( 1) इन नियमो का नाम भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा ( भर्ती ) द्वितीय संशोधन नियम, 1977 है ।
( 2) ये राजपत्त्र मे प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होगे ।
2. भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा ( भर्ती ) नियम, 1954 के नियम 9 ( 1 ) मे " 25 प्रतिशत " श्रको और शब्दों के स्थान पर " 335प्रतिशत " अका और शब्दों का रखा जाए ।
