NOTIFICATION
CUSTOMS
New Delhi, the 15th July 1977
G.S.R, 484(E) —In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section ( 1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Department of Revenue and Banking (Revenue Wing) No. 128— Customs, dated the 1st. July, 1977, namely :—
In the said notification, fortems(i)to (iii), the following items shall be substituted, namely:—
"(1) nylon filament yarn fabrics, embroidered fabrics (other than hand-embroidered or hand-operated machine embroidered fabrics, quilted fabrics, quilted blankets, hosiery, knitwear and made-up articles ;
(ii) polyester filament yarn fabrics, embroidered fabrics (other than hand-embroidered or hand-operated machine embroidered fabucs), hosiery, knitwear and made-up articles, (111) fabrics, embroidered fabrics (other than hand-embroidered or hand-operated machine embroidered fabrics), hosiery, knitwear, and made-up articles of mixed yarn of nylon filament and polyester filament "
