S.O. 56l(E) —Whereas the Government of Assam have intimated an inadvertent c m r ft the description of 2-Patharkandi and 4-Karimgarth South assembly constituencies mentioned In Part B, pf Schedule IV of the Delimitation of Parliamentary end Assembly Ccnstituencies Order, I976, in respect of the State of Assam
And Whereat the commission considers, it necessary and expedient to make necessary cor- section in the description of the said constituencies ;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 9(a) of the Representation of the People Act, 1950, the Election Commission hereby makes the correction in the said Schedule of the Order as follows —1
At page'58, in item'(2) of the Appendix, the entry "287. Dewali F V." shall be deleted.
