NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 19th July 1977
G.S.R. 532 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2), read with clause (a) of sub-section (1), of section 7 of the Food Corporations Act, 1964 (37 of 1964), and sub-rule(i) of rule 3 of the Food Corporations Rules, 1965, the Central Government hereby appoints Shn S.S. Grewal, IAS, Adviser (Agriculture and Irrigation), Planning Commission to be the Chair- man of the Board of Directors of the Food Corporation of India with effect from the 19th July, 1977 and makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Food and Agriculture (Deprartment of Food) No G S.R 37, dated the 2nd January, 1965 namely :—
In the said notification, under the heading "Chairman, appointed under section 7(i)(a)" against item (1), for the entry, the following entry shall be substituted, namely •—
"Shri S.S. Grewal".
