NOTIFICATION
New DELHI, the 24th July, 1977
S.O. 584(E).—The ceremony of assumption of Office of the President by Shri Neelam Sanjiva Reddy, the President-elect, will take place in the Central Hall, Parliament House at 10 00 AM on Monday, the 25th July, 1977
For this ceremony, there will assemble in the Central Hall, the Prime Minister and other Ministers, the Speaker of the Lok Sabha, the Chief Justice of India, Heads of Diplomatic Missions, Heads of U.N Agencies, Members of the Lok Sabhn and Rajya Sabha, the LI Governor, Delhi, the Principal Civil and Military Officers of the Government of India and the Armed Forces
The Oath of Office will be taken by President-elect in the presence of the Chief Justice as prescribed by the Constitution A salute of 21 Runs will be fired The President will deliver an address The President and the Vice-President will then leave the Central Hall
Uniforms will be worn by Officers of the Defence Services and the Police Civilian Officers attending the ceremony will wear the formal dress,
