Now Delhi , the 30th July 1977
G.S.R. 546 ( E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - rule ( 1 ) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules , 1944 , read with sub - section ( 3 ) of section 3 of the Additional Duties of Excise ( Goods of Special Importance ) Act , 1957 ( 58 of 1957 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Department of Revenue and Banking , No 136 / 77 - Central Excises , dated the 18th June , 1977 , namely : -
In the said notification , in the first proviso,-
(a) after clause (na ) , the following clause shall be inserted , namely : -
"( 1b) in the case of canvas , duck and filter cloth manufactured on powerlooms ( without spinning or processing plants ) , the appropriate rate of duty as specified in the Table shall be reduced by six per cent ad valorem if the duty on such fabrics exceeds six per cent . ad valorem , and shall be exempted in full if the duty on such fabrics does not exceed six per cent ad valorem . " ,
(b) in clause ( il ) , for the words " in the case of powerloom fabrics ", the words, brackets, figure and letter " in the case of powerloom fabrics other than those covered by clause ( ib) " , shall be substituted.

सा० का ० नि ० 546 ( अ) - केन्द्रीय सरकार , अतिरिक्त उत्पादन शुल्क ( विशेष महत्व के माल ) अधिनियम , 1957 ( 1957 का 58 ) की धारा 3 की उपधारा ( 3 ) के साथ पठित, केन्द्रीय उत्पाद- शुल्क नियम , 1944 के नियम 8 के उपनियम ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियो का प्रयोग करते हुए , और भारत सरकार के राजस्व और बेकिग विभाग की अधिसूचना सं ० 136 77-- केन्द्रीय उत्पाद- शुल्क, तारीख 18 जून, 1977 मे निम्नलिखित सशोधन और करती है, अर्थात्-
उक्त अधिसूचना मे, प्रथम परन्तुक के ,
( क ) खण्ड ( क ) के पश्चात् निम्नलिखित खण्ड अन्त. स्थापित किया जाएगा, अर्थात्:--
( ख) बिजलकरघो पर ( कताई या प्रसस्करण सयत्रो के बिना ) विनिर्मित कैनवस, डक प्रौर फिल्टर कपडो की दशा मे, सारणी में यथाविनिदिष्ट शुल्क की समुचित वर में छह प्रतिशत मूल्यांनुसार कमी कर दी जाएगी यदि ऐसे फैब्रिको पर शुल्क छह प्रतिशत मूल्यानुमार से अधिक है , और यदि ऐसे फैब्रिको पर शुल्क छह प्रतिशत मूल्यानुसार से अधिक नही है तो उन पर पूरी पूरी छूट दे दी जाएगी ।
(ख) खण्ड ( ii ) में " बिजलकरघा के फैद्रिको की दशा मे " शब्दो कोष्ठ , अंक और शब्द के स्थान पर " इम परन्तुक के खण्ड ( क ) के अन्तर्गत आने वाले बिजलकरषा फैब्रिको से भिन्न बिजलकरघा के फब्रिको की दशा मे " शब्द रखे जाएंगे ।

In the said notification , in the first proviso ,-
(a) after clause ( i ) , the following clause shall be inserted , namely - "(na) in the case of canvas , duck and filter cloth manufactured on powerlooms (without spinning or processing plants ) , the appropriate rate of duty as specified in the Table shall be reduced by sıx per cent . ad valorem if the duty on such fabrica exceeds six per cent . ad valorem , and shall be exempted in full if the duty on such fabrics does not exceed six per cent. ad valorem . " ,
(b) in clause ( iii ) , for the words " in the case of powerloom fabrics " , the words, brackets , figures and letter " in the case of powerloom fabrics other than those covered by clause ( lia ) " , shall be substituted.

उक्त श्रधिसूचना मै , प्रथम परन्तुक के,-
(क ) खण्ड ( ii ) के पश्चात् निम्नलिखित खण्ड अत. स्थापित किया जाएगा , अर्थात् .-
(iiक ) बिजलकरधो पर ( कताई या प्रसंस्करण संयंत्र के बिना ) विनिनित कैनवस , उक और फिल्टर कपड़ो की दशा में , सारणी मे यथाविनिर्दिष्ट शुल्क की समुचित दर में छह प्रतिशत मूल्यानुसार कमी कर दी जाएगी यदि ऐसे फैब्रिको पर शुल्क छह प्रतिशत मूल्यानुसार से अधिक है, और यदि ऐसे फैब्रिको पर शुल्क छह प्रतिशत मूल्यानुसार से अधिक नही है तो उन पर पूरी पूरी छूट दे दी जाएगी ।
(ख) खण्ड ( iii ) में " बिजलकरघा के फैब्रिको की दशा में " शब्दो कोष्ठ , अंक और शब्द के स्थान पर " इस पर -सुक के खण्ड ( ii क ) के अन्तर्गत श्राने वालें बिजलकरघा फॅब्रिको से भिन्न बिजलीकरवा के फैब्रिको की दशा में " शब्द रखे जाएंगे ।
