NOTIFICATIONS

New Delhi, the 11th August 1977

S.O 613 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Commis- sion of Inquiry Act, 1952 (60 of 1952), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Home Affairs No S O 375(E), dated the 30th May, 1977 relating to Maruti concerns, namely—

In the said notification, after paragraph 2, the following paragraph shall be inserted, namely —-

"2A. Nothing in paragraph 2 shall be deemed to include any matter included in the following items of the terms of reference specified in the Annexure to the notification of the Government of India in the Minis- try of Home Affairs (Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms) No. SO 393(E), dated the 14th June, 1977 (relating to Shri Bansi Lal), namely —

(a) item No, I, (b) item No 2 and (c) Item No 7 In so far as it relates to the issue of orders entrusting the construction of bus bodies to Messrs Maruti Limited" [No FII/lG011/32/77-S&P(D.II)] (2453) 2454 T HE a A Z E T TE ⁰F INDIA EXTRAORDINARY PART II—SEC. 3(ii)

S.O. 614(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Commis- sions of Inquiry Act, 1952 (60 of 1952), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Home A(ialrs No. S.O 374(E), dated the 28th May, 1977 (relating to excesses committed during the Emergency proclaimed on the 25th June, 1975), namely —•

In tlw jaid notification, after paragraph 2, the following paragraph shall be inserted, namely.—

"2A Npthing in paragraph 2 shall be deemed to include— (a) any metttr included In th$ terms of reference specified—

(i) in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Home Affairs No SO 375(E), dated the auth May, 1977 (relating to Marutl concerns); or

(11) in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Home Affairs (Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms) No SO 3U3(E), dated the 14th June, 1977 (relating to Shri Bunsi Lai); or

(b) any matter relating to allegation No, 21 of the allegations contained in the Memorandum dated 6th April, 1977 in the terms of reference specified in the notification of the Government of India in the Minis- try of Home Aflairs (Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms) No SO 360(E) dated the 19th May, 1977 (relating to allegations made against the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and some members of his Council of Ministers) ".
